Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Eithne Treanor, the Chief Executive Officer of Dubai-based economic media consultancy, Treanor.
The minister praised her activities in media marketing and consultancy at the regional level and in a number of fields, including renewable energy, conferences and dialogues with ministers and decision-makers.
The Minister said Bahrain had made good progress in the field of renewable due to the interest of its leadership to promote the use of clean energy. He said the Sustainable Energy Unit sought to activate the role of renewable energy to supplement conventional fossil fuels.
Ms. Treanor thanked the minister and officials for the warm welcome and hospitality and for providing support and opportunities for companies to participate in renewable energy projects in Bahrain.
