Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received British Ambassador Simon Martin and praised the strong ties between the two friendly countries in the fields of electricity, water and renewable energy. Dr. Mirza reviewed ways of enhancing cooperation in common fields between the two friendly countries and briefed the ambassador on the existing and future projects implemented by the Electricity and Water Authority and the Sustainable Energy Unit.
The ambassador expressed the desire of British companies specialized in these fields to participate and contribute to these projects according to the available opportunities.
The ambassador thanked the minister for the warm welcome and the hospitality and said Britain is ready to strengthen existing cooperation to serve the interests and aspirations of the two countries.
