Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza has left Bahrain to take part in Abu Dhabi Sustainability 2016, being held in the UAE capital on January 18 and 19.
Dr. Mirza will be in the UAE at the invitation of its Energy Minister, Suhail Al Mazroui as well as the UAE Energy Board Chairman Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber.
The event is being held to coincide with the opening of the World Future Energy Summit and the Water Summit. A number of heads of state, ministers, ambassadors as well as a large number of officials and specialists of brotherly and friendly countries will also be present at the event, which will discuss topics in the area of renewable energy.
The minister will also take part in open seminar sessions and be in dialogue with decision-makers in the energy sector to discuss the vision of Bahrain’s Energy Ministry in continuing the sustainability of related sectors over the next three decades.
The minister said Bahrain's participation comes from the great importance of this event at the local, regional and international level and in which more than 80 countries are taking part to share their expertise and experience in the fields of energy.
Oil and Gas Affairs Director General Jassim Isa Al Shirawi, Advisor to the Minister on Technical and Engineering Affairs Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Karim Habib and Director of the Minister’s Office Ahmed Bucheery accompany the minister.
