President of EWA Inaugurates New Customer Service Centre in Muharraq

 

His Excellency, Engineer Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, President of the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), has inaugurated a new customer service centre in Seef Mall, Muharraq.

 

His Excellency noted that EWA aims to advance its customer services, by increasing and improving its communication channels with its customers. HE stressed that positive and continuous communication with EWA customers is vital in order to develop the services provided and deliver customer centric operations.

 

The President highlighted that EWA's plans to diversify its customer service channels, in order to facilitate to all customers. This includes electronic services and virtual branches, which allows customers to easily and conveniently complete their transactions. EWA also provides a home v​isit service for senior citizens and people with disabilities, as part of its commitment to offer inclusive services to all customers.

 

On the occasion of the inauguration HE stated, “The Electricity and Water Authority provides essential services to all citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Therefore, we are keen to provide multiple channels in order to facilitate our services to all customers. The inauguration of our new customer service branch is in line with EWA's development plan, which aims to improve the quality of services provided."

 

EWA now offers five customer communication channels, including customer service centres, e-services, EWA call centre which operates 24 hours a day, virtual appointments, which enable customers to virtually communicate with EWA through prebooked appointments and finally, home visits to serve senior citizens and people with disabilities.
