Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) supported company, Insomnia Consultancy, which has been selected by the Sustainable Energy Unit to revamp its website.
The minister welcomed the attendees and was given a on the design of the website and a plan of action required to achieve the objectives of the next phase.
The company aims to formulate strategies for communication with citizens and residents to raise awareness about national plans and projects in the field of renewable energy and energy conservation, while providing continuous information on developments in the work of the Sustainable Energy Unit.
This includes its policies and initiatives and those included in national the energy efficiency and renewable energy plans and Net Metering, which constitute the most important steps leading up to the uses and investments in renewable energy in Bahrain.
