Minister receives Solar One Chairman



Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Solar One Chairman Rami Khalifa, who presented him a commemorative plaque as appreciation and gratitude for his unlimited support for solar projects in Bahrain.

Solar One is specialized in the production, manufacture and supply of equipment for the production of solar energy and will supply this equipment to the Jafari Endowment Authority of the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs. This will provide houses of worship Jafari property with solar energy generation systems.

The minister praised the activities of the company and applauded their efforts in the manufacture of solar panels, technical tools and equipment, for supply in the Bahraini market.

He said this will undoubtedly contribute to achieving the national goals of Bahrain to activate the use of clean energy and raise efficiency. He said the Jafari initiative is not the first of its kind. He said it had previously installed solar systems in other properties, thus becoming the first government agency to have adopted the solar energy project in coordination with the Electricity and Water Authority and the Sustainable Energy Unit.

The minister said that all these initiatives come from the interest of the wise leadership in the use of renewable energy for the country's overall development.

The minister commended the fruitful and tangible cooperation of the Ministry of Justice, headed by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa for his attention and personal follow-up for the utilization of solar energy in mosques, mansions and religious institutions.

The minister also paid tribute to the efforts of the Jafari administration under the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Mohsen Al Asfour.
